We are now hiring a Manager for the Nordic People & Culture (HR) Service team located in Stenungsund, Sweden and Porvoo Finland. In this role you will lead, steer and develop our P&C Service organization filled with highly skilled people.
As a leader, we expect you to provide advice and guidance to your team members, to the relevant P&C Business Partners and to line managers/employees, guarantee execution on operational matters with regard to the employee life cycle such as:

…and ensure compliance in every delivery. You will act as a point of escalation for issues regarding services operation that can’t be resolved, and provide expert services that leverage economies of scope, scale and expertise.
We also expect you to develop the team to the next level in terms of collaboration, competence and embracing the digital world.
As our Regional Service manager, we expect you to drive Group P&C Services standards (incl. metrics and KPI’s) & principles, to develop tools for supporting excellent HR Services Partner Deliver, and to monitor compliant delivery according to labour and location principles. You will lean on Borealis P&C Strategy, Governance Principles and Customers requirements.
In this role, you will:
Define, maintain and ensure execution of excellent P&C Service & delivery performance within your area, serving a total of + 2.000 employee distributed in Sweden and Finland.
Participate in, or manage Group projects, to develop further P&C services in line with strategy and based on business needs.
Trigger actions if services related KPIs are outside the target range and makes sure improvement efforts are coordinated.
Act as key interface to external audits (e.g. income tax, social security insurance) and internal audits such as EU 8th directive.
Ensures that Borealis P&C processes, tools and standards are state of the art (external benchmarking) and applied in own area.



In this role, you will report to Director Employee Service P&C, will be a member of the P&C Services Partner Leadership team, and as such, participates in the definition of Group P&C Services strategy.
You will have 10 direct reports and many interfaces such as:
HR Services Leadership Team, own team and broader HR Services organization
Local & Stream Business Partners
Finance
IT&S and other key users
Internal or external Auditors
Local authorities


About you
We believe the right person have a Bachelor or M.Sc. in social sciences, Human Resources law or business economics. You also have a good understanding of governance requirements and principles and mastery of Swedish or Finnish and English at business level. It is an advantage if you have a broad knowledge in the basic Services area = Admin, Payroll, Reward, Mobility, and a broad knowledge of pension scheme basics in Sweden and of Finland. Good knowledge of in Swedish or Finnish employment laws and regulations; other European experience would be a bonus.
You have a demonstrated ability to lead people, change processes and international projects and is willing to lead cross-location teams. Travel on a monthly or by-monthly basis is required. You have the ability to develop and maintain effective business partnerships and a strong network with key stakeholders such as the Business Partners, Group functions as well as a partnership with Legal, Risk, Operations and IT.
You act as a role model for Empowerment – Trust - Ownership for direct reports and encourage the same approach across the own HR Services organisation. You effectively inform Stakeholders on HR Services progress, challenges and opportunities. You have very good interpersonal skills, sound judgement and the ability to juggle many often competing priorities simultaneously.

We are now seeking our next Demand Manager, Construction Specialities, Nouryon Performance Formulations. Main responsibilities
Demand Forecast:
Analyze and manage the forecast and compare with historical sales history - Time period of relevance is 1 month to 24 months future horizon
Monthly reporting of Demand Management scorecard.

Stakeholder Management:
Work collaboratively with the Sales Managers to ensure key assumptions on anticipated market movements and commercial strategy are reflected within the forecasts and coordinate and ensure execution of the demand plan with responsible sales and customer service teams.
Actively communicate situation on slow moving products / discontinued products to the Sales Managers

Forecast Segmentation and Statistical Forecast Models:
Realize forecast segmentation to identify materials applicable to collaborative forecast and products that require market information. Re-evaluation at least annually to ensure correct forecast segment.
Determine the model that fits best to the business patterns. Assures that new product/plant combinations are assigned the relevant statistical model.

Power User Arkieva:
Acts as a project leader or participant in demand management projects with a minor (financial) impact. Focus in these projects is on SAP and Arkieva changes. Scope includes the management of external expertise.

Business Planning
Supports preparation and facilitation of Demand Reviews
Provide input to the Supply Management Review (SMR) in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
Co-leads the Demand Supply Review (DSR) to drive tactical implementation of the approved plans.

Improvement Suggestions:
Propose tools and structures for the improvement of the planning function and, after consultation the IBP Manager, implements these structures.
Manage specific Supply Chain projects to meet budget requirements, project timelines, goals, business objectives etc.


Qualifications
B. Sc or M Sc Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations
Minimum 3 years of documented experience in a similar role preferably in a chemical or FMCG industry
Highly proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Access; SharePoint)
High knowledge with SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse) or Arkieva (or equivalent advanced planning software)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Experience from Project Management is an advantage
Solid understanding of supply chain and business processes

Main duties and responsibilities:
Lead and drive all procurement activities for medium and large CapEx projects throughout initiation, study phase, pre-project phase, detailed engineering and execution phase

Secure early involvement of procurement and take an active role in the budgeting estimation process
Actively participate within project team in a constructive manner to find the best solutions taking concepts such as Total Cost of Ownership and Landed cost into account
Provide detailed knowledge of the market and supplier alternatives to the projects
Manage the procurement execution against approved baseline and assure compliancy against policies and procedures
Manage engineering contractor in project procurement execution
Lead negotiations for medium and large projects and set up project specific contracts with suppliers including with all relevant clauses, guarantees, etc.
Work with supplier and project members to secure timely delivery of agreed services or products.



Qualification
Relevant University degree (preferably chemical engineering)
Experience achieved in the area of capital purchasing or in an engineering role that closely collaborates with procurement (minimum 3 years).
Experience from process engineering within the chemical industry; for example process engineering, project management or construction manager (minimum 5 years)
Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are an asset

To be successful in this position we believe that you have a high social competence and ability to build long term relationship. You enjoy to work independently according to business processes.
