Are you a strategic and hands-on engineering leader ready to make an impact in a high-stakes industrial project? We're seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the full engineering lifecycle – from planning and design to procurement and construction interface – ensuring all tasks are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
In this role, you will coordinate a broad range of engineering disciplines and act as the vital link between the Engineering Contractor and the internal project team, ensuring compliance, alignment, and technical excellence.
???? Key Responsibilities
???? Project Planning & Execution
Ensure that all engineering tasks are executed in line with scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with the Project Control Manager and other key stakeholders to develop an integrated project schedule and execution strategy.
Supervise engineering estimates, progress reporting, and resource planning in coordination with discipline leads.
???? Engineering Oversight & Quality Control
Review and manage compliance with all technical specifications, design codes, and company/client requirements.
Ensure that the Engineering Contractor maintains a master set of specifications, technical standards, and change management procedures.
Approve RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices within authorized limits.
???? Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead and align a cross-functional engineering team, including staffing reviews and CV evaluations.
Set clear responsibilities for all team members, ensuring each has a defined job description.
Coordinate with engineering subcontractors, licensors, vendors, and the client to resolve technical and design issues.
???? Communication & Reporting
Establish clear channels for documentation and decision tracking across all engineering activities.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings and participate in vendor kick-offs, design reviews, and planning sessions.
Ensure all correspondence and project documentation aligns with contractual obligations.
???? Project Closeout & Delivery
Oversee final documentation, including native files, technical reports, and project closeout deliverables.
Drive timely resolution of punch items, deviations, and design changes.
? What You Bring
Solid experience in engineering/project management for complex industrial or infrastructure projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to align diverse teams.
Deep knowledge of technical standards, project controls, procurement, and engineering systems.
Proficiency in change management, scheduling, and engineering workflows.
Experience working with Engineering Contractors and understanding of EPCM/EPC project environments.
