Om rollen
Våra kunder finns inom flera branscher, t.ex. förnybara energikällor, skogs-, läkemedels-, stål och kemiindustrin. Du kommer att jobba med en blandning av korta och långa uppdrag. Vidare kommer du ha flera kontaktytor såväl internt som externt, nationellt och internationellt.

För att möta den ökande efterfrågan på våra tjänster söker vi dig som vill arbeta med processäkerhet med fokus på ATEX. Du arbetar då med att t.ex. förbereda tillståndsärenden inom LBE, framtagning av klassningsplaner och explosionsskyddsdokument. Vi ser gärna att du även har erfarenhet av andra områden inom processäkerhet:
Ledning av riskanalyser, t.ex. HAZOP, HAZID, SIL-analyser, osv
Arbeta med att genomföra andra riskrelaterade tillståndsärenden, t.ex. Seveso, miljöbalken, LSO, osv
Agera som HSE-lead i designprojekt som AFRY driver
Beräkna konsekvenser i form av brand, explosion och giftiga utsläpp.

I din roll som riskkonsult hos oss kan det förekomma resor runt i och utanför Sverige då vårt verksamhetsområde är internationellt. Just nu söker vi medarbetare främst vid AFRYs-kontor i Göteborg, Stenungsund, Stockholm, Malmö, Borlänge och Örnsköldsvik. Andra orter kan också diskuteras.


Kravspecifikation
Vi söker dig som har tidigare erfarenhet av att arbeta med processäkerhet, framförallt med ATEX, och gärna även någon mer av de nämnda tjänsteområdena ovan, antingen i rollen som konsult eller på en anläggning. Du tycker om att jobba med teknik, är systematisk och gillar att jobba med komplicerade problem samt är en lagspelare. Vi ser gärna att du har en akademisk examen som civilingenjör eller förvärvat din kunskap enligt motsvarande.
I rollen som konsult behöver du bygga personliga nätverk såväl hos kundföretagen som internt hos AFRY. Har du ett uppbyggt nätverk, ser vi det som en stor fördel. Vidare är du duktig på att bibehålla och förvalta dina befintliga relationer och du triggas av att hitta nya affärsmöjligheter. Du behöver också ha förmågan att hantera en budget och leverera med korta deadlines samt själv planera och organisera ditt arbete. Gillar du även att vara uppdragsledare och vägleda dina kollegor ser vi det som ett plus. Om du å andra sidan tycker det är roligare att specialisera dig och ha möjlighet att specialisera dig inom ett visst område, är det en annan egenskap som det också ses positivt på.
För att jobba med säkerhet ställs höga krav på förmågan att kommunicera. Därför kommer det ställas krav på att du behärskar det svenska språket flytande samt är väl förtrogen med engelska i tal och skrift.

Inom Safety arbetar vi med riskhantering, brand, arbetsmiljö samt samhällsskydd och beredskap. Har du erfarenheter utöver processäkerhet som ingår i vår tjänsteportfölj är det meriterande.

About the job

In your future role as Scientist you will
Act as an expert in process engineering.
Act as expert in process safety and maintenance of process equipment.
Manage process upgrade projects and be a team member in identified Accolade projects.
Contribute to expanding and sharing process engineering knowhow in the team.
Solving complex problems related to new product development and introduction at our manufacturing sites, process development and optimizations, customer complaints and trouble shooting in the plant.
Run assignments in accordance with prioritizations both for internal and external customers and interpret the results. Report the results according to the routines in the management system.


We believe you bring
MSc or PhD in Chemical engineering or related field, or BSc degree with >7 years of relevant industrial experience.
Experience in process chemistry desired.
Inherent process safety focus.
Strong computer skills. Proficient with MS Office.
Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)



Great if you have
Experience from Pilot scale or full plant scale operation a plus.
Experience in high pressure chemistry a plus.

We are looking for a Product Owner Low Pressure Polyethylene
As part of the Global Product Asset Management Team you are technically responsible for defined portfolios of Borealis commercial Polyethylene products comprising Low Pressure Polyethylene used in various applications.
You serve our customers by driving continuous improvement in product quality, performance and cost. Through networking with the production sites, the commercial organization and S&OP;, you secure that our commercial products meet customer’s needs and expectations.

Ensure that our products can be produced within established specifications and fulfil customer needs, quality standard and legal requirements. You are the owner of internal and external product specifications and support

Perform product quality reviews and lead product-related claim investigations in order to propose justification.

About you
As our desired candidate, you have a degree in Material Science, Polymer Engineering/Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, and several years of professional experience. Your future role as Researcher
You will be part of the Analysis EMEA Team and perform chemical analyses for product and process development projects. You will work with Wet Chemical Analysis and develop expertise in characterization of surfactants.


Main responsibilities:
Prepare, execute, evaluate, and report analytical requests to support R&D projects.
Perform hands-on laboratory work and general tasks necessary for laboratory operations.
Act as an analytical expert in questions related to product and process development, customer complaints, trouble shooting in production etc.
Take responsibility for development, implementation, and validation of analytical methods.



We believe you bring
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with relevant experience.
Excellent skills in Wet Chemistry Analyses.
Experience in practical laboratory work and in lab and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Fluency in written and spoken English, Swedish in an advantage.



Great if you have
Experience in analysis of surfactants and in surfactant characterization (determination of critical micelle concentration, contact angle, surface tension, etc.).
Good knowledge and understanding of validation/statistics.
Experience with research and method development.
Good knowledge in organic chemistry.
Good understanding of ISO 17025.

We have an immediate opening for a permanent position as Senior Researcher in the R&D, Product development team within Paints and Coatings in Stenungsund.
The Paints and Coatings R&D team in Stenungsund is responsible for the product development work for polymers and surfactants in the Paints and Coatings application area. Our portfolio includes cellulose ethers, synthetic polymers, surfactants, and also silicates and thermoplastic microspheres.

In your future role as Senior Researcher you will
Lead and/or participates as technical support in product development projects with a strong focus on paint applications.
Setup, plan and execute experimental work, collect, and analyse data, document results, and to share with colleagues.
Develop the portfolio of cellulosic ethers, surfactants, and synthetic polymers for the Paint & Coatings applications
Build know-how of our products in relation to paint and coatings properties
Hold technical trainings of sales persons and distributors
Actively participate in technical support to our customers
Keep up with relevant developments in area of expertise
Actively contribute to the safety and order of the lab, and have a strong focus on the Health, Safety and Environment questions

Nu söker vi Dig som vill arbeta som ingenjör på laboratoriet inom miljö - där du kommer att få ingå i ett team bestående av fem erfarna laboranter som ställer upp för varandra.
Arbetsuppgifter
Tillsammans med dina närmaste kollegor inom miljö ansvarar ni för kvalitet av analyser som utförs både dagligdags och med varierad frekvens utifrån driftens behov. Teamet ansvarar för analys av vattnet från sitens reningsverk, klorfabrikens analysbehov samt andra analyser som svarar på om vi lever upp till de miljökrav som Länsstyrelsen ställer på oss som processindustri.
Vid frågor från laboranterna stöttar du som ingenjör med din kunskap samt bidrar vid enhetens arbetstoppar. Därutöver ingår underhåll, kontroll och kalibrering av instrument samt utveckling av metoder och instruktioner. Du kommer att rapportera kvalitetsavvikelser i Synergi samt ansvara för att åtgärder blir genomförda, dessutom utföra kontroller och rutiner som följer av att vi är ackrediterade enligt ISO17025. På laboratoriet som helhet arbetar ytterligare en ingenjör inom QC samt två ingenjörer inom GC - tillsammans med laboratoriet chef kommer ni att ha avstämningar varje vecka för att hjälpas åt och stötta varandra.
Dina kontaktytor kommer att vara både externa och interna. Externa i form av exempelvis miljölab på andra siter utomlands inom INOVYN eller våra levernaterör av instrument i samband med inköp av nya instrument eller reservdelar, samt interna kontakter i form av våra kunder d.v.s. driften – där du kommer ha dialog med driftingenjörer, miljöingenjör och chefer m.fl.
Kvalifikationer och personliga egenskaper
Utbildning som Högskoleingenjör inom kemi är ett krav, utöver det är tidigare erfarenhet av analystekniker som jonkromatograf, ICP, titrering, spektrofotometer, pH, konduktivitet, provtagning m.fl. meriterande. Vi ser också gärna att du är bekant med ISO17025.
