We are looking for two to three electrical engineers who can lead the discipline of electrical design. You will become part of a team of skilled and fun experts and specialists. We currently have about 600 employees at the offices in Gothenburg/Stenungsund, of which 40 are in Electrical & Automation Technology.
Your daily work and responsibilities include:
Project lead electrical design
High and low voltage electrical system design
Planning design work and deliverables together with motor control centre and distribution systems.
Cable dimensioning and cable ways
RFQ for installation contracts
Cost calculations
Commissioning and handover to client.

Cost Controller

As a Cost Controller at COWI, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of EPCM projects to ensure costs are controlled, budgets are adhered to, and financial risks are minimized. Key Responsibilities
Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets to ensure all expenditures align with approved Total Installed Cost (TIC) plans.
Cost Tracking and Analysis: Track project costs across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors; analyze variances between actual and planned costs.
Cost Forecasting: Prepare accurate forecasts to predict future expenditures and identify potential overruns or savings.
Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain regular cost reports, including cost-to-complete analyses, earned value reports, and variance reports for project stakeholders.
Change Order Management: Assess the financial impact of scope changes, change orders, and contract amendments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Invoice Verification: Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost data and project alignment.
System Utilization: Utilize financial and project management tools such as SAP and Excel to effectively track, analyze, and report costs.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years in cost control or financial management, preferably within EPCM, construction, or engineering projects.
Experience with large-scale, complex projects in industries such as oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, or energy is highly advantageous.
Certifications (preferred):
Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent from AACE International.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.

As Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll be a key player on-site – ensuring quality, safety, and technical precision across mechanical installations in complex industrial projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
Supervise mechanical installations and coordinate with contractors at site
Ensure compliance with design, quality standards, and industrial safety regulations
Support commissioning and testing activities in close collaboration with engineers and clients
Act as technical liaison between site activities and the engineering team
Monitor progress, report deviations, and contribute to continuous improvement
Maintain site documentation and ensure a high level of safety culture

What You Bring
Several years of experience in mechanical supervision or installation within process, petrochemical, or heavy industry
Knowledge of Swedish industrial safety standards and mechanical systems
Ability to lead subcontractors and maintain structured documentation
Fluency in English (Swedish is an advantage)
Relevant technical education or strong practical background
Experience working in industrial environments such as Stenungsund, Lysekil, or similar is highly valued
